Presentation of the Centre
GHU Paris-Saclay is one of the largest university hospital groups in the Paris region, and among the most renowned in France (ranked 13th in the 2025 Academic Ranking of World Universities, Shanghai). It is also a major reference center in oncology.
It brings together six hospitals: Paul-Brousse, Bicêtre, Antoine-Béclère, Ambroise-Paré, Raymond-Poincaré and Sainte-Périne, covering a wide range of medical and surgical specialties.
This network offers patients comprehensive and multidisciplinary cancer care pathways, from prevention and diagnosis to advanced treatments and supportive care.
Oncology activities are organized across several specialties, including digestive (colorectal, hepatobiliary and pancreatic cancers), thoracic, dermatology, gynecology and breast cancers, urology, hematology and pediatric oncology.
Dedicated multidisciplinary meetings and tumor boards ensure personalized management, integrating medical oncology, surgery, endoscopy, interventional procedures, as well as supportive care such as pain management and palliative medicine.
Research Activities and Education
Research is a cornerstone of GHU Paris-Saclay, conducted in close partnership with Inserm and Paris-Saclay University.
Teams participate in numerous national and international clinical trials and translational research programs.
Molecular biology and biobanking platforms for somatic and germline genetic analyses foster innovation, while hepatology, hepatobiliary surgery and digestive oncology are recognized as fields of excellence.
