Presentation of the Centre
Located in Barcelona, the Campus Sant Pau – Puigvert is a historic and forward-looking hub for healthcare, research, and education. Its core institution, the Hospital de la Santa Creu i Sant Pau, was founded in 1401 and pioneered oncology care in Spain, hosting both the country’s first oncology department and radiotherapy unit.
The Fundació Puigvert, a monographic centre on campus, is internationally recognized for excellence in urology, nephrology, and reproductive medicine. It was the first Spanish centre to perform robotic oncological surgery and remains a global reference in urological cancer. The campus today integrates high-quality care with cutting-edge innovation across institutions.
